Support
Email support@playcodestatus.com and a person will answer. Including your device model and iOS version usually saves a round trip.
Subscriptions and billing
Code Status Premium is sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. Because Apple processes the payment, we never see your payment details and cannot issue refunds ourselves.
To manage or cancel: open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Code Status. Cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next renewal. You keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out.
For a refund: refunds are handled entirely by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot approve or reverse a charge, but tell us what went wrong and we will fix the underlying problem.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone, open the subscription screen and tap Restore purchases. Sign in with the same method you used when you subscribed. Your subscription is tied to that account, not to the device.
If the library is still locked after restoring, email support@playcodestatus.com with the Apple ID email you subscribed with and we will sort it out.
Your account and progress
You can play without an account. The app creates an anonymous one so your progress is saved on the device. Signing in with Apple, Google, or an email code is what makes your progress follow you to another iPhone.
Signing out never deletes anything. To delete your account and all of your progress permanently, go to Profile in the app. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so do that in your Apple ID settings first.
Downloads and offline play
Free cases are built into the app and work with no connection at all. Other cases download once and then play offline. If a download stalls, leave the screen and start it again. It resumes from where it stopped rather than starting over.
You can see how much space cases are using, and remove downloaded ones, under Settings › Storage in the app.
Reporting a clinical problem
If you think a case teaches something incorrect, please tell us. Send the case name and what you would change to support@playcodestatus.com. Clinical corrections are read by a clinician and are the feedback we most want.
